Logan Paul was so stunned by his brother Jake Paul calling out Anthony Joshua that he had to check if he was on drugs at the time.

Jake stated his intentions to share the ring with the two-time heavyweight champion last week during a taping of his podcast.

He even sensationally suggested that he would 'beat his a***'.

This led to a phone call between the pair, where both men verbally agreed to meet in 2026.

Jake's callout raised a few eyebrows, none more so than those of his big brother, who asked him during a recent YouTube vlog: "When you called out Anthony Joshua, were you on cocaine?"

"No, I don't do that thing," replied Jake before quipping: "But I would if you got some."

Quizzed further on why he wants to fight AJ, Jake continued: "To be heavyweight champion of the world. His chin is gone."

"But he's still Anthony Joshua," Logan remarked.

Jake interrupted: "Which is stiff, no rhythm, no skill, just power...

"Yeah [I'm serious], it is in 2026. We already talked."

Joshua hasn't stepped foot in the ring since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September.

Promoter Eddie Hearn recently told talkSPORT.com that Joshua will return in the summer against either Tyson Fury, Martin Bakole, Joseph Parker, Deontay Wilder or Agit Kabayel.

A spring comeback has been ruled out due to a mysterious injury that will keep him out of full training for another eight weeks.

"Top half of his body, there you go," Hearn said when asked for further details on the issue that will leave his client on the sidelines for nearly a year.

“Nothing major, but it means that he's been returning to training, and it's not quite ready to turn back to camp.

“He needs about another eight weeks until he can punch properly.

"You're looking at what, April-May till he can start camp properly, so it leads us to the back end of the summer."
